Founded in 2008, the American Muslim Democratic Caucus (AMDC) is a national-level political organization working to enhance the meaningful participation of all American Muslims in the electoral process through its network of thirteen state-level chapters.

Jetpac Executive Director and Co-Founder Shaun Kennedy was invited to join AMDC. “I’m humbled and excited to be joining the AMDC as an advisor. I think that this will lead to a better connectivity among elected American Muslim officials, and those candidates who are eager to swell the ranks,” he said.

“The AMDC does amazing work elevating progressive Muslim voices and mobilizing the community in the democratic process. I hope to add to the work as best I can,” added Shaun.

Appointment of Shaun Kennedy is a recognition of the work that Jetpac has been able to do in a short amount of time. Working with AMDC also reflects the collaborative nature of the work that Jetpac does with existing institutions.
